Beautiful, well-made, and sturdy. While the photos show the sculpture displayed on a circular stand with metal fronds - this stand does not come with the bird and must be ordered separately (this is a drag since there isn't a link to add the stand to the order, so you have to contact the seller later and pay double shipping). Seller should not include a picture of the stand or at least make the stand available as an optional purchase. Not sure how stable the bird would be without the stand and just using it as a garden stake. Still, it is a lovely sculpture.

Much nicer product than we were expecting; The product had been purchased to keep real heron away from our koi pond and we just needed something that looked reasonable from a distance. The metal construction is solid and well done. A pleasant surprise.

We're happy with our heron. I will say that the picture and description led me to assume it would be more 3-D than it turned out to be. It consists essentially of two somewhat "cupped" halves joined together, so it looks pretty three dimensional in profile, but when seen edge-on the illusion is diminished. Even so, with careful placement it is attractive, and the real heron hasn't come back so far.
