I bought this fan to move warm air from one room to another. I have a wood burning stove in my downstairs that get's very hot, about 82 in the room when running well, but my son's playroom is next to it in another room and that doesn't get above 62 when the stove its running. Now for some specifics my downstairs is about 1,800 square feet and the stove is all the way in the corner on one side, while the playroom is on the other side. Now with the fan running on the high setting I can move about 4 degrees in temp from one room to the other so now my room with the stove is 78 and the play room is 66. That's exactly what I wanted this fan to do, sometimes depending on the outdoor temp it moves more like 5 degrees but I was testing in the recent 32 degree weather. The fan noise is about equal to a window A/C with just the fan setting on, perhaps a little less on the lower speed.

Decent product. Good customer service when face plate was sent damaged. Easy to install. Long extension cord. Two settings for the fan. This unit is a little loud to sleep with but really cranks the air around the home. Very powerful but a little loud for a bedroom.

I purchased this, with the intent of constructing a blower to pull cold air from my crawlspace into a room used to store wine. My actual intent was to construct this to "suck" air rather than "blow" air. that could be accomplished by patiently disassembling the motor, and turning the motor shaft the other direction, so the fan turns the opposite way. I was also able to turn the fan blade over to match this, for maximum performance. The fan is sturdy, well constructed, and easy to install. Yes. I would purchase this again, if needed.
